Your dog is more similar to you in their emotions than in their mentality. Some their emotive reactions are so much like ours, that which we tend to humanize them. The emotions of dogs are obviously expressed in its eyes and face, its movements of ear and tail, its maintenance, and behavior general. Sometimes they vocally are as well expressed. Your dog can feel and express the same emotions as us: to like, hate, joy, pain, sorrow, concern, jealousy, remorse, anger, feared, and much more the subtle one such as mistrust and the resignation.
The dogs of pet have an attaching tendency to imitate the emotive reactions of their owner, which cannot weigh much in an argument, but they offer certainly much in the moral support. They are more individual by expressing their emotions than we are. The dogs approach and seek the contact with the objects and the beings which inspire by the friendly feelings, and avoid it or launch it far from those which they fear. Often a dog will pretend not to see a person or an animal which it hates. A position of acroupissement and an attentive means of eye which it did not compose yet its spirit to make confidence or méfieer.
Some facial expressions are just like ours. The wrinklings of the worried eyebrows, annoyed gleams, fixed glances full with worship, suspicious has a cast, calling into question of the glances, of the tempting glances, mood, and even of the true smiles. A smile, accompanied by the eyes and ears with half closed held bottom means the intense pleasure. The dogs express their feelings by the language of body more as well as facial expressions. A tail of removal and a friendly grimace are invitations to approach and perhaps to make friends, whereas a gimlet, legs fixed and the tail of fixed glance, stiff, right are warnings to keep your distance. The question of the distance is important for the dog because of the territorial concern and the instincts of survival.
The dogs give usually the voice to the emotions, and their significances are generally clear. Happy Glouglous or acute cries of a dog with pleasure. A soft moaning indicates “please”, and grondement is certainly hostile. The dogs jappent of the pain or of fear, pleurnichent of the destruction or the pain, and the sigh for the same reasons as us. It is easiest to interpret cries of pup, they shout when they are too hot, pleurnichent when cold, and protest strong so famished. Barking is usually made to draw the attention or to work excessive energy if the dog is constrained like inside kennels. The information of exchange of dogs among itself less per voice that by a range of expressions, maintenances of body and gestures facial.
An owner who takes the trouble to observe his dog and to pay him the courtesy to listen to him, can establish a simple communication system bidirectional with his pet. The canine messages are usually very elementary, because it asks much less we that we make of him. “I am hungry”, “I am thirsty, “I must leave”, or “come with me”, to be among the messages which it manages to give very well, considering its limited means. Its more eloquent expression is perhaps the emotive glouglou or the barks which mean to indicate, “they take place about time when you came to the house, I were bored of you! ”
